 Why did I decide to become an acupuncturist?

I have always had an interest in wellness practices; however, taking care of my aging parents was the real catalyst that led me to do research and learn about acupuncture.

When my parents started getting older, I saw firsthand, that their doctors' solutions were to just put them on more and more medications. To me, the medications appeared to be 'a band aid' approach vs determining the root cause. At the time, I thought that there had to be a better way. I started doing research and discovered that acupuncture is the better way.
